Fosters save lives. Open your home and help us say yes to the next animal.

Bring what you have

Every skill can move a rescue forward.

Shelter2Rescue coordinates with rural Texas shelters to save dogs and cats in danger because there is no space left. Your time can become their ride, their introduction, or their next chance.

Volunteer opportunities

There is a place for the way you help best.

You do not need rescue experience to make a difference. Choose a practical role that fits your time, comfort, and talents.

01

Transport animals

Drive a short local leg or help with a longer relay between shelters, clinics, foster homes, events, and rescue partners.

02

Help at adoption events

Set up, welcome families, handle supplies, walk dogs, and help each animal make a wonderful first impression.

03

Basic grooming

Help dogs and cats feel comfortable and camera-ready with patient brushing, bathing, and other basic care.

04

Photograph pets

Create clear, warm portraits that help adopters notice an animal and imagine welcoming them home.

05

Share their stories

Use social media to amplify adoptable pets, urgent needs, community events, and happy endings.

06

Lend your skills

Marketing, writing, design, organization, and other practical talents keep an all-volunteer rescue moving.

Our greatest ongoing need

A foster home lets us say yes.

Fosters provide the first step needed to save a life. You provide a secure home, attention, and love; Shelter2Rescue can assist with food, medical care, and necessary supplies.
